Junior Graphic Designer

About the role
As a Junior Graphic Designer at Elevations, you’ll be an important part of our creative team, helping bring ideas to life across a range of projects for clients in the UK and internationally.
You’ll work closely with designers, project managers, and the wider team, supporting the development of visual concepts and producing thoughtful, well-crafted design work. From early ideas through to final artwork, you’ll have the opportunity to learn by doing and gain valuable experience, build confidence, and develop your creative skills in a supportive, collaborative environment.
This role is ideal for someone at the early stages of their design career who’s curious, enthusiastic, and keen to grow. You’ll be encouraged to contribute ideas, take increasing ownership of your work overtime, and learn from experienced colleagues who care about quality, collaboration, and doing things properly.
What you’ll be doing
Supporting the 2D team with the development of visual concepts across a range of projects
Producing design artwork across print and digital, with guidance from more experienced designers
Preparing files for production and ensuring artwork is accurate and well organised
Making design amends and refinements in response to feedback
Helping maintain brand consistency across different projects and touchpoints
Organising and managing design files, assets, and templates
Collaborating closely with colleagues and partners
Contributing ideas and helping improve how we work
Occasional site visits in the UK and abroad.

We are looking for a Junior Graphic Designer who will play a key role in supporting the 2D team in the creation and checking of visual assets for physical and digital spaces within exhibition environments.
You’ll collaborate with our 3D, CAD, Project Management & Workshop teams to deliver high-quality graphics that align with the objectives and brand guidelines of our clients.

This role is based at our office in Sywell, located in the heart of Northamptonshire, right next door to Sywell Aerodrome which boasts one of the best General Aviation Airfields in the United Kingdom.

Our interview process
At elevations, our aim is to keep the interview process as straightforward and enjoyable as possible, and will consist of the following stages:
Informal call with a Department Head (30-minute video call)
A take home task brief will be issued by Department Head (In an email or over teams)
2nd round - Sywell office visit: in-person meeting with the team and to present your take home task to stakeholders. (1hr - in-person meeting)
The decision process will take approximately 2 weeks
