Flash back to 1975, when Jaws blasted into cinemas and rewrote the rulebook as Hollywood’s very first true “summer blockbuster.” Star Wars would prove the phenomenon two years later, but it was Jaws that taught studios how to create anticipation, fill every seat and sell endless merchandise.
