The Odyssey
Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey is the kind of film that simply doesn't get made very often anymore. The scale is enormous, the ambition even bigger, and I'm genuinely glad filmmakers are still backing projects like this. It feels like a blockbuster made with real confidence, built around storytelling, craft and spectacle rather than franchise mechanics.
Apples
During a global pandemic (sound familiar?) that sparks sudden amnesia . . . Aris (Aris Servetalis) is enrolled in a recovery programme designed to give blank people new identities. He is given a Polaroid camera and tasked with creating & documenting fresh memories, a project that becomes complicated when he meets a fellow patient called Anna (Sofia Georgovassili).
